NGL work actively to minimise the impact of our activities on the environment: In particular the minimisation of: Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions; energy and resource consumption and waste production.

Our commercial fleet incorporate viable, proven technologies in drag reduction; aerodynamic efficiency; engine, braking and drive train efficiency; fuels; filtration and rolling resistance.

Vehicle route planning considers load optimisation and overall vehicle utilisation for each journey, to optimise schedules and minimise transport miles, to reduce total fuel consumed.

Drivers are all trained in efficient driving techniques to assist in the reduction of emissions.

NGL work with customers to review and, whenever possible, reduce inner/outer packaging and use of pallets.

Less packaging improves freight load density, reduces waste and landed cost per unit.

NGL colleagues make a significant contribution to reducing our environmental impact, by reducing the waste they generate and being aware of their energy and resource consumption.
