NGL Hong Kong will close on 13th May for Buddha’s birthday, a holiday traditionally celebrated in most of East Asia to commemorate the birth of the Prince Siddhartha Gautama, later the Gautama Buddha and founder of Buddhism.

In Hong Kong, the birthday of Lord Buddha remains one of the largest Buddhist festivals and it is a National Holiday celebrated on the 8th day of the 4th moon in the Lunar calendar, normally in April or May on the Western calendar.

In 2019 it will be on Sunday May 12th, with the public holiday falling on the Monday, which means our Hong Kong office will be closed Monday 13th May, opening again on the 14th. All other offices will operate as normal
