We are monitoring potential strike action at London Heathrow, which may impact freight operations, if carriers move cargo away during the threatened days of action.

LHR strike latest………..

Tuesday’s LHR strike has also been called off as new pay deal was agreed, but strike dates announced for 23 and 24 August still stand and are subject to the result of a Union ballot on the new pay deal.

Around 4,000 members of Unite, including security guards, firefighters and engineers, will vote on the revised pay deal.

New information and updates will be communicated on this page and on our social media channels

If the strike proceeds, we expect carriers to move freight away from these days to avoid congestion at the Control Posts.

We would like to remind you that while this situation is out of our control, our priority is to ensure your cargo moves as soon as possible and that we always strive to mitigate any delivery delays.

We’re working with airline carriers on a number of contingency initiatives.

If you need further information on how this action may affect a specific consignment during this period, please do not hesitate to contact your account manager or our customer service team.

As soon as we have any further information, we will let you know.
